Completed Programme
ELSE (ESOL Learner to Salary Earner) was developed to help ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) learners build the language skills and confidence needed to prepare for employment.
The programme combined English language learning with practical employability support, including CV writing, job searching and workplace communication. Learners also explored real-life workplace scenarios and developed sector-specific vocabulary to help them progress towards employment.
Although the programme has now ended, a selection of the original self-study resources remains available. These include videos covering Administration, Care Work, and Warehouse roles, providing learners with an opportunity to practise workplace English at their own pace.
