Earlier this year, JET worked alongside Science City on the Joining up the Environment and Technology Project.
The groups visited St Mary’s Lighthouse and Derwent Valley, where they were able to explore the local wildlife. The group learned about different habitats and a range of species. The field visits allowed the participants to experience wildlife ‘first-hand’ and to document this wildlife using digital cameras.
The group also enjoyed a classroom session where they were able to upload their photographs and were able to try image cropping, printing and framing.

I would highly recommend JET to anyone not used working in the UK - they will give you all the support you need to find the right job. Although I am now busy with my work, I would definitely consider doing further courses at JET in the future. - Twayiba Moussa
