Robert Kanci. He currently lives in the West Denton area of Newcastle. He came to the UK from Czechoslovakia and decided to visit JET in November 2006. He had done some kitchen work in 2 different restaurants/bars, but was keen to learn more and get more permanent work.

Qaisar Mushtaq

Qaisar MushtaqThis is Qaisar Mushtaq from Pakistan - he came to JET in September 2005 to find out what training courses we offered. He spoke to one of our guidance workers and was enrolled onto JET's ESOL for Jobs course. The course covered CV and letter writing, how to jobsearch, plus advice on job interview techniques.

He later telephoned JET to say that he had secured a new job which he loved and that he was very happy as he had also passed his driving test. "I found the course very useful", said Qaisar "the staff are very helpful, supportive and encouraging. I am now working as a Production Operator and enjoy my job very much. I am gaining valuable experience." He also agreed to be in one of newsletters as a feature.

Qaisar also went on to complete his ESOL Entry 2 in Speaking & Listening.
