This is Biba (Ljubimka Vukas), one of our JET volunteers here teaching an IT class with one of our top students, Robert Kanci.
Biba came from Croatia to the UK, and registered with JET in October 2006.
She came to visit JET as she was looking for some experience in IT teaching. Biba started as an assistant to JET adviser Khatoon Khan to help teach basic computer classes, primarily on a one-to-one basis on days when classes were less full.
Biba is currently unable to work, but is a keen college student, passing three A Levels at college and being offered placements at university.
Biba is always reliable, and never lets our students down - her classes are frequent and well attended and she is a very committed worker. She is also part of New Deal's 'ByteSize' Project.
She has recently started advising to clients too when they come to the JET office, along with helping our course tutor Jean with new learners.
Thank you Biba for your continuing hard work!
