Rachel has worked in public sector management for the past 10 years, working with European as well as regional funding, Her career covers working on business support and enterprise projects, as well as undertaking a 2 year VSO placement in Cameroon, helping 2 small charities with their organisational development. More recently she has been working at One North East, the Regional Development Agency, on employability initiatives, aimed at helping long-term unemployed of the region. She also manages projects that help the third sector in the North East.
In her spare time Rachel looks after her young daughter, is a self-employed consultant for Neal's Yard Remedies, loves travelling and reading books. Her dream is to a go on a Big Game safari!
