Formerly an employee at West Gate College, Joe supported learners with ESOL. He has helped facilitate an ESF project and worked with several local colleges / charity organisations to deliver it. He has a level 3 NVQ in Business Administration.
Joe has a (BA) Degree in Film and Media from the University of Sunderland, which hasn’t been particularly useful but he enjoyed it!
Before his studies he volunteered with VSO (Voluntary Services Overseas) for 6 months, spending time in Nigeria helping to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and assisting in local community projects.
Joe is currently teaching himself Spanish with the long term goal of becoming fluent and travelling to South America. He enjoys reading, films, playing guitar and could not live without music.
