We are a registered charity and we help people from the BME (Black Minority Ethnic) community, asylum seekers, refugees and New Migrant communities to find work, improve their skills and to integrate into the community.
JET was originally established in 2001, and became a registered charity in April 2006. It was recognised that there was a need to break down some of the barriers many from the ethnic minorities were experiencing when searching for work. So JET has been developed with the aim of helping people like you to develop better skills, and to establish useful links with employers and voluntary organisations in the community.
JET can help you improve your communication skills, provide guidance as to how to job hunt more effectively, and look at opportunities for further training for you. We also offer you personal support. The service JET provides is unique, and JET has supported many hundreds of clients to plan and prepare for their future and improve their confidence.
